Lisa’s grandpa always used to say “if you ain’t busy livin’, you might as well get busy dyin”. And Lisa never thought too deeply about that, because she had the sort of life where didn’t have to feel deeply about much. Actually, she didn’t have to do much, ever. But then Lisa started reading the news and she was horrified to learn the world is filled with cruelty and injustice. So, she decided to get involved. She started reading, researching, donating and listening. Then she painted a sign, bought a pack of cigarettes (didn’t every revolutionary smoke?) and struck out to get busy living, and to get busy caring.

Animals and their Vices in an ongoing project that mixes images and words. Each animal has a painting, and also a small biography. Every animal’s story is unique; a snippet of their character and circumstances to entertain the reader and celebrate the sweet absurdity of this world.
These colourful, whimsical 5x7inch prints each feature one of the cast of Animals and their Vices. Included with each print is the animals story – a vignette about their lives.
